“Went to Bridgewood Manor with my wife for her Birthday and it was a pleasant place to be. She enjoyed every minute spent at the hotel and the staffs were excellent. Breakfast was spot on and the spa treatment was money well spent. I will definitely go back there. The only downside for us was the location of hotel on the website vs the actual location. While using satnav, the destination was in the middle of Walderslade woods roundabout that is about 2 minutes drive away from the actual location. I'll advise the management look into this please. Aside this, we indeed had a great time in the hotel.”

“Stayed for one night due to work commitments. The room was clean and nice, if a little dated but had everything I needed. Receptionist was lovely and very helpful. I didn’t access the pool and spa. Breakfast let my stay down. Hot food was dry, hard and had clearly been under the hot plate a while. No staff seemed bothered-they stood about chatting. The pastries were nice and bread was fresh so I ate them but was disappointed to not get to enjoy a full breakfast”

“Went for the luxury spa break and it was fabulous! Had a nice light lunch provided, then a few hours in the spa. The two 50 min treatments were great and the therapist was excellent - full body massage and facial! The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful - Grace on reception was very welcoming and really helpful when I had an issue with the fan in my room! The set dinner was nice - I do wish there was a little more variety on both the set menu and normal menu but still really good! Rooms were spacious, and bed was very comfortable! Bathroom clean and toiletries provided. Would visit again!”

“Had a lovely day trip at the spa. We had a light lunch that was included in our stay. And the staff were lovely. Summer was particularly welcoming and happy to help. She was so polite and lovely and no issue was too big for her. Thank you!”

“A spa I’ve visited a couple of times with great food, but a few things stop it being truly relaxing Spa I’ve been to the spa at Bridgewood Manor Hotel a couple of times (I’ve never stayed in the hotel rooms). The spa itself is decent, but the water isn’t the warmest, which takes away from that full “switch-off” feeling. Treatments The massages are nice, and the treatment rooms are relaxing, great for switching off, even if the treatments themselves don’t massively stand out. Food The food I’ve had here has been genuinely delicious and easily the highlight of every visit. Lobby & Atmosphere On one visit, me and the Mrs spent a few hours chatting in the lobby. A regular guest with a dog was very friendly but extremely chatty and wouldn’t really take the hint when we were trying to do our own thing. The staff clearly know her well (she brought Christmas presents for them all by name), but it might be worth being mindful that this kind of situation could make more introverted guests uncomfortable. Location Good-ish location right at the top of Bluebell Hill, easy to get to and feels nicely tucked away. Improvement suggestion Make it easier to get through to the spa by phone or allow calls to be redirected. Warmer spa water would really improve the overall experience. Keep an eye on lobby interactions so all guests feel comfortable relaxing. Overall, a place with good food and a decent spa setup, but a few small changes would make a big difference. Would I come again? Yes, probably, but mainly for the food and a light spa visit, not full-blown zen”
